The basketball team of Central Michigan University (Mount Pleasant, MI) is known as the Central Michigan Chippewas. The Chippewas currently compete in the Mid-American Conference. Their last NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament appearance was in 2003. The team has appeared in four NCAA tournaments in total. They also appeared in the NAIA National Tournament twice. They play their home games at the Daniel P. Rose Center in Mount Pleasant.
